Filming Day 1

We started filming today and it is going very well. We started at 9 AM and worked until around 3 PM. At first, it took us a while to get in groove, so our first scene took a long time to film. After we got through it, we were much faster and efficient. We were very confused with our storyboard because we forgot to number the pages and put locations, so Joanne went through it and numbered everything and put the locations which was extremely helpful. 

The camera battery also died, so instead of waiting around for it we used the time to created our bloody t-shirt for the final scene and recorded the voiceover for the voicemail message Amber hears in the beginning of the film. Joanne also came up with the idea of creating a behind the scenes vlog to put on our website for marketing purposes, so we filmed/took pictures of status updates and setting up scenes.

We filmed all the scenes at my house, and just have to film one other scene tomorrow. We decided instead of going to Panera to go to Starbucks because it has a better outside area to film in and is closer to our houses. At least the bulk of our filming is done, because we really need to start editing. The Starbucks scene is very short so it will not take us long to film. 

Taylor and Joanne are going to work on the rest of the website, behind the scenes vlog, and start the flyer/postcard advertisement. I think we are making really good progress, and I want to edit at least 1 minute of the film everyday so we have plenty of time to make any changes and work on the other components, as well as the CCR.
